A few of the many videos made for social media over recent years

Side by Side by Side  new recording: a couple of regulars at No 20 have asked me to let them know when I have recorded this track so here it is.  I have added some footage and stills from the net. I wrote this song in 2003 after friends and family joined me on the anti war march in London. I have always tried to keep my political views pretty much to myself so this song marked my only ever public, political action.

Lady Grey Live:  Recorded and filmed live at Number 20 wine bar Penryn in Cornwall in 2017. This is song was written in 2014 while on tour with a dance/theater company but it was inspired by my many years of busking and street performance.  Those of us who have worked on the streets often come into contact with and befriend  the less fortunate, the homeless and freedom seekers. They are often good, fascinating and inspiring people - we should not turn away.

Songs for Heroes,  I recorded this track in Feb 2018 with just piano and vocals. It is a reflection on the many unsung, everyday heroes and struggles that lay behind upbeat social media posts.

Long Way Home, Just a little lockdown home movie of a new song. Lyrics : The money changers in the temple turn to leave What use is your fortune now or the things that you believed The gypsy singers will dance away your pain The time to reap is past it’s time to sow again It’s a long way ...
